The WALGA Local Government Awards were held on Saturday 19th July. Two Councillors from the Shire of Williams received an award. President Jarrad Logie, the Eminent Service Award - for eminent service and distinguished contributions to WALGA and the Local Government sector; and Deputy President Natalie Major, the Merit Award - for notable service and contributions to WALGA and the Local Government sector. Recognition well deserved.

The Shire of Williams is required to publish annually a Freedom of Information Statement, in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1992, Part 5, Section 94.

The Shire of Williams is currently reviewing its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan that was prepared in 2020. The Shire is seeking public comment from the community as to areas that can be improved upon terms of accessibility - inclusive of physical access and general access to information, services and facilities.
