Council Services

Staff at the Shire of Williams are happy to assist with a variety of services provided by the Council. These range from private works and water cartage to pet licensing, venue, chair and trestle hire . These services are described in the list of Fees and Charges, however if further information is required please see the drop-down menu under the 'Council Services' link at the top of this page. For Hire

The RSL Hall is one of our most popular venue for meetings, instructional classes or small functions. It is carpeted, airconditioned and equipped with tables and chairs if required. There is aslo a wall mounted 54" LCD TV which can be used to connect a laptop or VHS/DVD/blueray player.

As with all our venues, setup prior to the event, or cleaning after the event, may incur additional charges.

The fully equipped kitchen which adjoins the RSL Hall is also available for either minor use or major use hire, at an additional charge.

Chairs, Trestles, Crockery and Cutlery can also be hired separately (off the premises). We have 11 wooden trestle tables available, each measures approximately 78cm wide, 180cm long and stands 70cm tall.

Department of Transport Licensing Agency

The Shire is an agent for the Department of Transport's licensing services. This includes most services associated with vehicle licences and drivers licenses (except practical driving assessments), as well as renewals and registrations for boats.

Please note that opening hours for Department of Transport licensing matters are from 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
