NOTICE OF PUBLIC ADVERTISEMENT OF PLANNING STRATEGY

Shires of Wagin, West Arthur and Williams Draft Joint Local Planning Strategy.

The Shires of Wagin, West Arthur and Williams have prepared a Draft Joint Local Planning Strategy, to guide land use change and development over the next 15 years. The draft Strategy applies to the whole of the three Shire areas.

The draft Strategy is available at https://www.williams.wa.gov.au/council/council-documents/public-notices.aspx on the Shire website and a printed is available to view at the Shire administration building.

Submissions from the public are invited from Monday 2 December 2024 until Friday 31 January 2025. All submissions must be in writing, by email or postal mail, and include the submitter’s name and full address. Submissions relating to land or planning actions in the Shires of Wagin and West Arthur should be lodged with those respective Shires.

Submissions related to the Shire of Williams will be considered, and proposed modifications presented back to the Council for consideration and endorsement. Submissions and modifications will then be sent to the Western Australian Planning Commission for final approval.
