DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION - PROPOSED OFFICE/WORKSHOP AND CONCRETE
BATCHING PLANT : LOT 401 (No 2) MARJIDIN, WILLIAMS
The Shire has received a planning application proposing an office/workshop and concrete batching plant on the above mentioned lot.
The lot is located on the corner of Marjidin Way and Narrogin Road.
The Shires Town Planning Scheme requires buildings to be setback 16.5 metres from the front lot boundary, and a 5-metre landscaping strip. The office/workshop is proposed to be setback 13.5m from the front boundary.
In accordance with Clause 2.11 if the Scheme, the Shire intends to waive a requirement for landscaping and minimum front setback and the Shire, therefore, gives notice of this intent.
The Shire invites public comment on the proposal again given that the advertising previously did not comply with the required advertising timelines. The plans can be viewed at the Shire of Williams, 9 Brooking Street, Williams during office hours or on the Shire website at https://williams.wa.gov.au/council/council-documents/public-notices.aspx
Should you wish to make a submission on the proposal, your comments (in writing) will need to be lodged by 4pm 25th November 2024.
Should you have any queries relating to the proposed application, please do not hesitate to contact the Shire.
